''Zakerana mudduraja'' (common names: Muddu Raja fejervarya, Mudduraja cricket frog) is a frog that is endemic to the Western Ghats.〔 It is named after the 17th century ruler Muddu Raja who founded Madikeri.〔 ==Description== ''Zakerana mudduraja'' is a relatively large species among ''Zakerana'' from central Western Ghats. Mean snout to vent length of females is (range 38–54 mm). It is a cryptic species that is difficult to identify by morphological traits alone; it was first distinguished based on mitochondrial DNA analyses.
